    As article submission become more popular, E-zines and article directories tend to have stricter rules, in order to stop spammers and copyright frauds abusing their services. Because of this, as a webmaster, it takes a little understanding of the scene in order to get the process done right.
    You’ll also have to follow the article submission guidelines imposed by high quality E-zines nowadays, that is if you want your articles to count and your traffic to get boosted.     Article Submission Guidelines
    Your submitted article must be original. Most E-zines will instantly reject duplicate content and some even use anti-copyright fraud services to check if your article is copied from the Internet. Others have human employees checking for originality.
    Public domain and PLR articles are not acceptable by many E-zines, although you might have bought them in some content pack deal. That doesn’t make you the original author of the articles, even though you own copyright. However, you can hire a ghostwriter to do the dirty work for you and post the articles in your name.
    The resource box is usually a heavily restricted place, in that you can’t post any other links than towards your own website. Affiliate program links are not allowed in most publications’ resource boxes.
    Word count is one of the most common article submission guidelines and although with most E-zines it’s just that, a guideline, some choose to enforce it. Therefore, if an E-zine has a specific word count limit, you’ll have to tailor your article accordingly. Anyway, most guidelines suggest that your article be somewhere between 400 and 800 word.
    Some article submission guidelines also suggest that you don’t spam your articles with keywords all over. Although keyword optimization of the articles is sometimes allowed, you shouldn’t abuse it or your article won’t get accepted.
    Lastly, one of the most common requirements that appears in article submission guidelines from hundreds of publications is the use of proper English. Meaning that you should always double check and proofread your article before submitting it and if possible, checking it with a spell checker program. Additionally, you can use a grammar checker, although these are not always as accurate as spell checkers. All in all, an E-zine will never ask that your article will be PhD material in terms of English spelling and grammar, but they will ask that the content make sense and that spelling errors are not found every 5 or 6 words.
